Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani received today, Sunday, the delegation of the Gulf Union for Media.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister listened to the delegation members' remarks and their views on Iraq's ongoing development and reconstruction efforts. He highlighted the significant role of media, arts, and sports in strengthening bonds between nations, emphasizing their impact on communication and cultural exchange. He also referenced the success of Gulf Cup 25, held in Basra, as a testament to the unity, brotherhood, and interaction among the participating nations.
Al-Sudani stressed the importance of media in conveying an accurate and truthful representation of events and issues, particularly those of interest to the Arab public. He underscored the need for responsible and objective journalism, free from misinformation that serves narrow agendas.
